Hooga's HG300 is where a lot of people sensibly start: a straightforward dual-wavelength (660 nm red, 850 nm near-infrared) targeted panel with 60 LEDs, no app and no ambient modes, for $199. It measures roughly 60–73 mW/cm² at 6 inches — genuinely respectable for the price.

You give up multi-wavelength arrays, polish and full-body coverage, but for treating a specific area — face, joints, a sore back — it does the core job well, and the 3-year warranty is generous at this price. As a low-risk way to find out whether red light earns a place in your routine, it is hard to argue with.
