Value here means output and coverage per dollar, not simply the lowest price. These panels earn their place by delivering strong, independently measured irradiance — and in several cases full-body coverage — well below what the design-led brands charge for the same performance.

Compare independently measured irradiance at six inches, not the figure measured at the panel surface, which is much higher and less meaningful. Higher irradiance means shorter sessions for the same dose.
If you want to treat your whole body at once, you need one tall panel or several stacked. For targeted use — face, joints, a sore area — a smaller panel is more efficient and far cheaper.
Value brands often match premium irradiance for far less money. The premium you pay for design-led brands is mostly for finish, app control and modularity — worthwhile if those matter to you, not if you only care about light output.
