GembaRed's whole identity is radical spec transparency, and the Vector's page reads like a lab report: verified spectral peaks at 631/658/831/851 nm, a full irradiance-by-distance table from 0 to 24 inches, professionally measured flicker of 0.2%, and EMF readings at the panel face. The hardware follows the brand's low-EMF philosophy — an external 12V DC adapter keeps switching electronics away from your body, there is no fan, and the metal-framed panel runs silent. Individual red and NIR switches plus a built-in timer round out a simple control set.
The trade-off is raw power. Forty 3W LEDs drawing just 15W from the wall produce 4.5 optical watts, so GembaRed's own usage guidance is close-range: at the surface or within a foot of the target area. There is no pulsing, no mounting hardware, and shipping is US-only. But at $249 with a 2-year warranty and independently verified numbers, it is one of the most honestly documented entry points in the category.
