What we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address. If you use the setup builder and ask us to save your results, we collect the details you enter — name, email, and the budget, space, timeline and categories you selected. We do not ask for payment details, and we have no accounts or passwords.
Information collected automatically. When you click through to a retailer we record that a click happened: which product and retailer, which part of the page the link was in, the page you came from, the country your request came from, and whether the request looked like a phone, a desktop browser or a bot. We do not store your IP address or your full browser user-agent alongside it.
Analytics. We use privacy settings that disable advertising features and personalised advertising signals, and we strip names and email addresses before any event is sent. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Email addresses are used to send what you asked for — research notes, new comparisons and buying guides — and nothing else. Setup builder details are used to produce your results and, where you have asked us to, to follow up about your project. Click data is used to understand which pages help people decide and to reconcile affiliate commissions.
Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy. When you follow one, the retailer sets its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy — we have no control over and no access to those. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial relationship, and our methodology explains why it does not influence our scoring.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@wellobjects.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. If you are in a jurisdiction with additional rights — such as California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EEA and UK under the GDPR — those rights apply to you and the same address is how to use them.
This site is intended for adults making household purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
