The Diesel Mini is a battery-powered targeted panel with an unusual wavelength mix — 670, 810, and 940 nm (or a Blue Combo adding 450 nm) — plus 2.5/10/40 Hz pulsing, a timer, and a 0 EMF rating, all cordless with about two hours of runtime per 3-hour charge. LightpathLED publishes irradiance honestly at both 0 and 1 inch (94-98 and 78-82 mW/cm2), but those are near-contact figures, and $374 is a premium over plug-in panels with more LEDs.

LightpathLED builds the Diesel Mini around 16 double-chipped bulbs (two diode chips per bulb) in a 6 by 4 by 1.5 inch chassis weighing about two pounds. The Red/NIR configuration runs 670, 810, and 940 nm across three modes (red only, NIR only, or both), while a same-price Blue Combo adds 450 nm. Pulsing at 2.5, 10, or 40 Hz, a built-in timer, a 30-degree beam angle, and a 0 EMF rating round out the controls, and the box includes goggles, a charging cable, and a manual. As a cordless unit it charges in about three hours and runs for about two.
The spec sheet's honesty cuts both ways: 94-98 mW/cm2 is quoted at 0 inches and 78-82 mW/cm2 at 1 inch, near-contact numbers that shouldn't be compared with panels rated at 6-inch treatment distance. The 2-year warranty trails the 3-year coverage from Infraredi and Rouge's panels, though LightpathLED sweetens ownership in other ways — a trade-up program crediting the full purchase price toward a larger panel within 6 months, Class II FDA registration, veteran ownership with a $5-per-purchase donation to CreatiVets, and direct support from owner Scott Kennedy. At $374 it is priced for buyers who value cordless convenience over raw LED count.
