The OS-Champ is Osaki's entry point: a 2D SL-track chair with two-stage zero gravity, lumbar heating pads, and a Bluetooth speaker for $1,299. The trade-off is a basic 2D roller mechanism and only 5 auto programs — you give up the depth control and program variety of 3D chairs, but few competitors bundle zero gravity and space-saving recline at this price.

Osaki positions the OS-Champ as a first massage chair, and the spec sheet reads that way: a 2D roller mechanism running on an SL-track, 18 airbags for full-body compression, two heating pads at the lumbar, and 5 auto programs of 15 minutes each (Relax, Stretch, Upper Back, Lower Back, and a demo mode). Two-stage zero gravity and a space-saving design that needs about 9 inches less clearance than a conventional recliner are the standout inclusions — features that used to be reserved for pricier chairs.
The compromises are where you'd expect. 2D rollers move up-down and side-to-side but cannot vary protrusion depth the way 3D and 4D mechanisms do, and the 5-program menu is thin next to mid-range chairs offering 12 to 21. The extendable footrest adds up to 7.6 inches of length, and the stated user weight limit is 260 lb, but Osaki publishes no maximum user height for this model. The included warranty covers parts and labor for one year, with parts-only coverage in years two and three; curbside delivery is free and white-glove setup adds $275.
