BlueCube builds the D1 by hand in Redmond, Oregon around a double-walled aerospace-grade aluminum frame with advanced insulation and a UV-protective finish. Its upright "deep" geometry lets one person stand grounded with water to the neck in a 33" x 33" x 43.2" tub (66.63" x 41.63" total footprint with the chiller-housing staircase). A 1.5 HP+, 13,600 BTU commercial chiller with an outdoor-rated compressor cools about 5°F per hour across a 41–104°F range and runs in ambient temperatures down to 20°F, while the signature RiverMode system — a near-silent Iwaki magnetically coupled pump — keeps a continuous cold current moving and turns the water over roughly six times per hour through a 20-micron filter with automatic ozone sanitation. The whole unit runs under 60 dB, and the chiller fan shuts off once the water reaches temperature.

The commitments are specific: a dedicated 110/120V 20-amp circuit with a NEMA 5-20 receptacle (per NEC code for cold plunges), curbside freight delivery that requires two to four movers with dollies, and a build queue — currently estimated at 49 days — since every tub is made to order. Warranty coverage is strong for the class at 3 years residential parts and labor (1 year commercial) plus 10 years on the tub and frame, extendable to 5 years via subscription. Water volume is not published, the 41°F floor is the warmest minimum in this group, and automated chlorine/pH dosing is not available on this model — BlueCube points commercial upright buyers to its larger Limitless line instead.
