At $2,899 the Serenity is the cheapest cabin verified on Golden Designs' own site, and its 120V/15A plug-and-play hookup means no electrician is needed. The trade-off is space: the 44" x 36" interior is snug for the claimed two-person capacity, and like all far-infrared cabins it tops out at 140°F.

The Serenity (MX-LS2-01) is Maxxus' entry cabin: 48" x 40" x 75" outside, built from reforested Canadian hemlock with a clear tempered glass door. Its distinguishing feature is the "Dual Tech" heater set — a combination of six ceramic and carbon low-EMF far-infrared heaters (manufacturer-stated EMF of 5-10 mG at 2-3 inches). Interior chromotherapy lighting with a red-light feature, an interior/exterior LED control panel and Bluetooth/MP3 audio are included. The cabin heats to a maximum of 140°F, with 118-132°F given as the ideal range.
This is the easiest of the group to get running: 120V/15A non-GFCI plug-and-play (a dedicated outlet is recommended, not required wiring work), 275 lb assembled, shipping in two boxes, indoor use only. At $2,899 against a $4,499 compare-at price it undercuts the similar Seattle by $800 while adding the ceramic-carbon heater mix. What the page does not state: heater wattage, warm-up time, or panel count per heater type. The warranty follows Golden Designs' standard terms — 5 years residential on heaters and electronics but only 1 year on the wood structure, parts only.
Installation
Panel-kit assembly; ships in 2 boxes; plugs into a standard 120V outlet; indoor use only
Electrical
120V/15A non-GFCI plug-and-play; dedicated outlet recommended
Running cost
Maximum draw is limited by the 120V/15A circuit, so electricity use tops out around 1.8 kWh per hour of operation
Warranty
Limited lifetime warranty: 5 years residential on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on wood structure; parts only, labor not covered; indoor use only
