The MitoADAPT 4.0 MID is built for people who want to vary their light protocol rather than pick one setting forever: eight wavelengths (590-940 nm) on independent circuits enable 11 full-irradiance mode combinations, and Mito publishes both lab (>58 mW/cm²) and consumer-meter (>130 mW/cm²) figures at 6 inches. The trade-off is that $999 buys half-body coverage, and floor or universal stands run $199-$349 extra.

The MitoADAPT 4.0 series is Mito Red Light's flagship architecture: TruDUAL chip LEDs spanning 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850, and 940 nm, with every wavelength on its own circuit. That multi-circuit design is what makes the 11 selectable modes possible — any meaningful subset of bands can fire together at full irradiance instead of splitting power across everything at once. The MID panel carries 216 LED lenses (432 chips), measures 12 by 27 inches, draws 310W, and is positioned for upper- or lower-body sessions; a second MID or MAX stacks onto it later if you want to grow into full-body coverage.
Mito backs the series with the same transparency as its value line — spectroradiometer and consumer-meter irradiance figures are printed side by side, with independent third-party test data linked — plus FDA Class II registration, ETL certification, a 3-year warranty, and a 60-day return window. The catches are practical rather than technical: the panel ships with hanging hardware (over-door hook and steel cables) but the floor stand is a $199 add-on and the universal stand $349, the 11-mode system takes some study to use deliberately, and shoppers who just want red-plus-NIR at the lowest price can get that from Mito's own 2.0 series for far less.
