The OS-4000XT is one of Osaki's longest-serving models: a 2D chair on a laser-crafted steel L-track with two-stage zero gravity, dual infrared lumbar heating, and reflexology foot rollers. It is the lightest and slimmest chair in the lineup and needs only 2 inches of wall clearance. But at $4,799 undiscounted, a 2D mechanism is a hard sell when Osaki's own 3D Hamilton LE costs less than half as much.

The OS-4000XT dates from an earlier generation of Osaki's catalog and it shows in both its strengths and its spec sheet. The rollers are 2D — they travel the track and adjust strength, but do not extend in and out the way 3D and 4D mechanisms do. What the chair does offer is a laser-crafted steel L-track reaching from neck to hamstrings, a tension sensor that maps tight spots during the body scan, two-stage zero gravity reclining, dual infrared heating coils in the lumbar area, and foot rollers with reflexology ridges. Six auto modes and six manual styles cover the standard repertoire from Thai to Shiatsu, and Bluetooth surround speakers handle audio.
As furniture, it is the most apartment-friendly chair in this group: 175.2 lb net weight (roughly 70-110 lb lighter than the newer models), a 28.8-inch minimum doorway, and just 2 inches of required wall clearance. The problem is arithmetic. At $4,799 with no promotional discount, it sells for more than double the Hamilton LE's $2,199 street price while offering an older 2D mechanism, fewer programs, no voice control and the same three-year limited warranty structure. Unless the specific combination of L-track feel and low weight matters, the 4000XT is the lineup's weakest value in 2026.
