The Prelude is Infinity's most accessible chair, built around a near-flat reclining S-track, zero-gravity positioning, a decompression stretch, and six auto programs in a light 154 lb package. The trade-off is fundamental: the S-track stops at the lower back rather than continuing to the glutes, and its 2D 4-node mechanism is entry hardware at a $4,999 mid-tier price.

As the opening act its name implies, the Prelude covers the fundamentals in a compact, 154 lb chair. TrueFit body scanning sizes the session, a traveling 4-node mechanism runs shiatsu, kneading, tapping, and knocking down the spine, and the near-flat reclining S-track is the basis for the chair's signature move — the Decompression Stretch — alongside weightless zero-gravity recline and lumbar heat. Six auto programs (Full Body, Recover, and Focus among them) handle everyday use, while a full manual mode lets users target areas and adjust the intensity of the air compression therapy that runs throughout the chair. Foot reflexology rollers finish the head-to-toe coverage.
The compromises are exactly where the price says they should be. An S-track, unlike the L-tracks on every other chair in this group, ends at the lower back — no glute or hamstring roller coverage — and the 4-node mechanism has no stated depth adjustment. The 264 lb maximum user weight is the lowest in Infinity's lineup, and the same Limited Availability flag applies. In its favor, the Prelude's near-flat recline serves the stretch program well, its 32-by-52-inch upright footprint is genuinely apartment-friendly, and Infinity's 5-year tiered warranty and US-based support come standard at the line's lowest price.
