Daiwa built the Pegasus 2 Smart around two ideas: taking up as little room as possible and requiring as little effort as possible. The Zero Space Wall-Hugger design uses a pivot-base gliding recline that reaches its full 172-degree recline just 0.25 inches from a wall, and Smart-Listen voice control — Daiwa's first — starts or adjusts a massage hands-free in English or Chinese, backed by iOS/Android apps and a multi-language handheld remote covering seven languages. The fit range is unusually wide: ShoulderFit wings expand from 26 to 32 inches and the stated height range runs from 4'8" to 6'6", with a 300 lb weight limit.

The massage package rides a 49-inch L-shape track with 3D modes (Shiatsu, Breathe, Revive), 27 auto programs (9 programs across 3 time settings), 7 manual modes, and 48 airbags, including Daiwa's Shiatsu Wave calf massage that combines rollers behind the calves with wave-motion airbags, plus triple reflexology foot rollers and lumbar heat. A distinctive tapping on/off toggle lets users cut the most intense technique mid-program. Upholstered in Saffiano PU leather and weighing 275 lb, it is a serious installation. Daiwa's standard warranty covers parts and framework for two years and labor for one, with registration required and extended plans sold separately — short coverage at this price.
