Ownership looks light on paper: Polar Monkeys estimates about 5 minutes of upkeep per week, with automatic ozone sanitation and a 20-micron filter swapped every 3–4 weeks. The gaps are in the hardware numbers — no published chiller horsepower, BTU rating, or decibel level — and the standard warranty is 2 years limited (the independent chiller unit carries 1 year), with 3- and 5-year extensions sold separately at $899 and $1,199. Buyers comparing spec sheets will have to take the cooling performance claims on the range figures alone.
