The Summit is Redwood's spacious six-seater: heat-treated hemlock thermowood, extra headroom, and the widest heater ceiling in this group — up to a 10.5kW Harvia Virta Wi-Fi, with a 3-phase commercial option on request. Redwood states it reaches authentic sauna heat in under an hour. The included 6kW base heater is arguably undersized for a room this large, and as across the Redwood line, structural warranty coverage is just one year.

The Summit's 69.5" L x 82" W x 82.75" H shell makes it the widest cabin in Redwood's outdoor line, built from sustainably sourced, FSC-certified hemlock put through the brand's heat treatment for durability. The interior is pitched at comfort for six with extra headroom, and the 1,100 lb kit ships on two cradles with shingles, sauna rocks, a bulkhead light, towel peg, and a tempered glass door included. Redwood's own copy commits to a concrete performance claim — authentic traditional sauna heat in under an hour — and supports both dry sessions and steam over the rocks.
Heater selection is where Summit buyers should spend their attention. The included 6kW Harvia KIP has to serve the largest interior in this comparison, and Redwood's upgrade list runs deeper here than anywhere else: 8kW KIP and Spirit Wi-Fi units, a 9kW Homecraft, and 8kW or 10.5kW Harvia Virta Wi-Fi models (the 10.5kW also available in a 208V 3-phase commercial spec on request). The 10.5kW option pushes circuit requirements to 50A, on top of the standard hardwired 240V install and 120V lighting feed. No maximum temperature figure is published. Warranty is the familiar Redwood arrangement — one year on the structure, one year on heater elements, five years on other heater components — which is short relative to the investment.
Installation
Outdoor DIY kit assembly with manual and videos on a stable, level site; heater must be hardwired by a certified electrician; ships freight in a wooden crate
Electrical
240V hardwired heater circuit (30A for 6kW, 40A for 8kW, 50A for 10.5kW); 120V for lighting; certified electrician required
Running cost
Base 6kW heater draws up to about 6 kWh per hour of heating at full output; the large interior and 8-10.5kW upgrades push usage higher
Warranty
1-year limited warranty on the wooden sauna structure; Harvia heater covered 1 year on elements and 5 years on other components (residential)
Maintenance
Optional water-based exterior stain; sauna wax or paraffin oil on interior benches; wipe heater exterior periodically; restack and inspect stones every 6 months
