The Cabin targets small backyards that still want four-person capacity, using two-level seating so bathers can pick their heat intensity without touching the thermostat. The heater menu is the deepest in Redwood's line — nine options from the included 6kW KIP up to Wi-Fi Homecraft and Virta models. The base 6kW heater is modest for a 78 x 67-inch room in cold climates, and the one-year structural warranty remains the line's weak point.

At 78" L x 67" W x 92 1/2" H and 1,150 lbs, the Cabin is a proper four-person room compressed for limited outdoor space. Its defining feature is the two-level bench: sit high for intense heat, low for gentler sessions, with Redwood's gravity venting system circulating air so corners stay evenly warm. Construction is Canadian Thermowood — hemlock heat-treated above 400°F for natural moisture resistance — with FSC certification, a tempered glass door, and asphalt roll roofing included (a metal roof kit is an upgrade). The included 6kW Harvia KIP can be swapped at purchase for eight alternatives, including the 8kW Harvia Virta Wi-Fi and 9kW Homecraft Revive.
The practical considerations are typical of the class but worth stating. No porch or cradles are included, the heater requires a hardwired 240V circuit (30A at 6kW, 40A at 8kW) installed by a certified electrician, and Redwood publishes no maximum-temperature or warm-up figure for this model — buyers sizing the heater for a cold climate may want to price the 8-9kW upgrades rather than assume the base unit suffices. Warranty coverage is one year on the wooden structure, with the Harvia heater carrying one year on elements and five years on other components. Maintenance is the standard Redwood routine: optional exterior stain, interior sauna wax, and a stone inspection every six months.

Outdoor DIY kit assembly with manual and videos on a stable, level site; heater must be hardwired by a certified electrician; ships freight in a wooden crate

240V hardwired heater circuit (30A for 6kW, 40A for 8kW); 120V for lighting; certified electrician required
Running cost

Warranty
1-year limited warranty on the wooden sauna structure; Harvia heater covered 1 year on elements and 5 years on other components (residential)
Maintenance
Optional water-based exterior stain; sauna wax or paraffin oil on interior benches; wipe heater exterior periodically; restack and inspect stones every 6 months
