The Seattle is a straightforward two-person far-infrared cabin: six low-EMF carbon panels, clasp-together assembly and a standard 120V/15A plug. Its awkward spot is price — at $3,699 it costs $800 more than the Serenity from the same catalog while listing the same heater count, with a slightly deeper cabin as the main visible difference.

The Seattle (MX-J206-01) is a 48" x 42" x 75" indoor cabin in reforested Canadian hemlock with a clear tempered glass door. Six low-EMF far-infrared carbon panels (manufacturer-stated EMF of 5-10 mG at 2-3 inches from the panels) heat the cabin to a maximum of 140°F, with 118-132°F cited as the ideal range. Interior chromotherapy lighting with a red-light therapy feature, interior LED control panels and Bluetooth/MP3 audio with built-in speakers round out the equipment list.
Setup is simple: 120V/15A non-GFCI plug-and-play with a dedicated outlet recommended, clasp-together assembly, a roof vent, and two shipping boxes for a 275 lb cabin. Compared with the cheaper Serenity, the Seattle is 2 inches deeper inside (38" vs 36") but lists plain carbon panels rather than the Serenity's ceramic-carbon mix, so the $800 premium is hard to explain from the spec sheets alone. Heater wattage and warm-up time are not published. Warranty follows Golden Designs' standard terms: 5 years residential on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on the wood structure, parts only.
Installation
Clasp-together assembly; roof vent; ships in 2 boxes; indoor use only
Electrical
120V/15A non-GFCI plug-and-play; dedicated outlet recommended
Running cost
Maximum draw is limited by the 120V/15A circuit, so electricity use tops out around 1.8 kWh per hour of operation
Warranty
Limited lifetime warranty: 5 years residential on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on wood structure; parts only, labor not covered; indoor use only
