The Kuuma is the large-format barrel in Almost Heaven's Harvia Collection: thermally modified Nordic Pine staves, Linden benches, and a genuine Harvia heater in electric or wood-burning form. The limited lifetime structural warranty is the standout among big barrels. The trade-off is price — at $14,132 in the base 8kW configuration it costs roughly double comparable thermowood barrels, and it is a call-to-order product with a 6-8 week shipping lead time.

The Kuuma is built around materials rather than gadgets. The staves are 1-9/16-inch thermally modified Nordic Pine — thicker than the roughly 1.5-inch walls typical of value barrels — and the benches are smooth Linden wood, a softer, cooler-touch species than the hemlock used across most of the category. The interior room measures 84" W x 63" D x 83.5" H, which is what earns the 4-6 person rating, and the whole unit is made in Romania under the Harvia Group, which owns Almost Heaven. Heater choice defines the experience and the bill: the base $14,132 configuration uses an 8kW Harvia KIP with manual dials, while Spirit or Virta smart heaters with the Fenix Wi-Fi controller, or the M3 wood-burning kit, each push the price to $17,702. Almost Heaven's published temperature guidance for its electric heaters is 150-195°F, with wood-burning models running 160-200°F.
Ownership economics cut both ways. The limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects is the strongest structural coverage in this group, and Harvia backs its heaters for one year on elements and five years on other components. Against that, this is a hardwired 240V, 40/45-amp installation requiring an electrician, plus outdoor barrel assembly, and Almost Heaven does not publish an assembled weight or a numeric warm-up time for this model. It is also a call-to-order product with a quoted 6-8 week lead time, so this is a planned purchase rather than an impulse one.

Warranty
Limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects; Harvia heaters carry 1 year on heating elements and 5 years on other components
